Cantu Shea Butter Coconut Curling Cream

Cantu Shea Butter Curling Custard

Process:

I allow my hair to get damp in the shower, then I apply the Argan & Monoi oil in sections. I then apply the coconut curling cream in sections, lastly I apply the curling custard all over. I give my hair a good shake and allow my hair to air dry. 

Please note that I have major shrinkage due to the fact that I air dry and I  do not stretch my hair by banding or blow drying!

1 Year Later

2012 was an awesome start to my natural hair journey!! I've always played with the idea of going natural for years but never had the guts to actually do it. I initially planned to transition for one year, but when I went to Florida for Christmas in 2011 I decided to chop it all off at 7 months. The process was not so bad because my sister and I did the chop together in my grandparents bathroom. My aunt by marriage who is also natural was kind enough to do the honors for us.  Here are a few photos of our journey together:
